The Arena Champ de Mars a breathtaking venue

Located between the Eiffel Tower and the École Militaire in the 7th arrondissement, the Champ de Mars takes its name from the Roman god of war (Mars) and is one of the largest green spaces in Paris, covering 24.5 hectares.
From 2021, a temporary structure called the Arena Champs de Mars will be built to complement the ephemeral Grand Palais (also known as the Stade Tour Eiffel), located on Place Joffre to the south of the site.
This open stadium with a capacity of 12,860 spectators will host the judo and wrestling competitions of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
You can enjoy the judoevents from 27 July to 3 August 2024 and the wrestlingevents from 5 August to 11 August 2024.
To get to the Arena Champs de Mars during the event, we recommend you take metro line 12 to the ‘Porte de Versailles’ stop, which is a 150-metre walk away. Alternatively, take metro line 6 or 8 to the ‘La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle’ stop, then walk 400 metres to get to the venue, or take metro line 10 to the ‘Ségur’ stop, then walk 800 metres to get to the venue.
