SIMS 2022 Congress
47th Annual Congress of the SIMS on June 17 and 18, 2022 at the Palais des Congrès d'Issy les Moulineaux, 25 Av. Victor Cresson, 92130 Issy-les-Moulineaux
The Society of Musculoskeletal Imaging (S.I.M.S.) is a French-speaking and multidisciplinary scientific society, with a thousand members, which organizes an annual thematic congress in June in Paris with 800 to 850 participants of about fifteen nationalities.
The next S.I.M.S. congress, under the presidency of Professor JL Drapé, will take place on June 17 and 18, 2022 at the Palais des Congrès in Issy les Moulineaux, and will have as its theme "THE HAND". The congress venue is accessible from our Best Western Paris Porte de Versailles *** hotel in only 8 minutes by foot.
These days will address 6 original themes: the traumatic and microtraumatic wrist, wrist ligaments, the traumatic finger, "from finger to nail", the rheumatological and tumoral hand and finally interventional practices.
The S.I.M.S. is also setting up other continuous activities outside the exhibition period, including an annual week devoted to musculoskeletal ultrasound (350 participants) and two ultrasound workshops in the provinces, one in March and the other in September.
The French Society of Radiology (SFR) has commissioned the University Center of Radiology Professors of France (CERF) for large-scale programs on osteoarthritis in the French radiology era and musculoskeletal imaging training for radiology trainees.
Each year, Gel Contact publishes a bilingual ultrasound journal, and June Congress Book, a reference book published by Sauramps Medical. A copy of this book is available to the partners.
Finally, for the past few years, SIMS has been distributing, with the help of an industrial partner, a teaching video on musculoskeletal ultrasound available on the Internet and meeting with increasing success (www.sims- asso.org).
