Mayors' exhibition 2022

The Mayors' Exhibition 2022 will be held from November 22 to 24 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. 

For this 104th edition of the exhibition of mayors and local authorities, the SMCL 2022 prize for territorial innovation will be awarded. This prize will be awarded to exhibitors who have used innovative processes, materials, techniques, systems, services or solutions and exemplary local collaborations to implement innovative projects, initiatives or approaches in partnership with local authorities. Participation is restricted to SMLC 2022 exhibitors.

Contest: The 7 categories

The competition has 7 different categories

  • Energy transition: the one that will be able to meet the challenges of energy consumption, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the implementation of renewable energy production in the territories.
  • Infrastructure and mobility: the award will be given to the one who will have implemented investments and infrastructure renewal, such as the promotion of low-carbon transport of people and goods, collective and individual mobility favorable to the ecological transition in the territories.
  • The environmental transition: the main axes are the development of a circular economy, climate action and adaptation to climate disruption as well as the protection of natural ecosystems and the preservation of biodiversity. 
  • Digital transition: the objective is to modernize, facilitate and optimize essential infrastructures. We will focus on the modernization and performance through digital tools of territorial administrations and connected systems. 
  • Agricultural and food transition: which rewards new agricultural practices in the territories by reducing the environmental impact of the activity, supporting producers and promoting eating habits conducive to the health of the planet and people.
  • Lifestyles - Leisure and Solidarity: which rewards a solution that sheds light on the new lifestyles and new urbanities supported by local authorities for the benefit of the well-being of inhabitants, social links, citizenship and solidarity.
  • Territorial Development & Management: we are talking about the dynamism of a territory, the development of local activity and employment, the vitality and attractiveness, as well as the organization and governance of a territory.
