The Paris Marathon was created in 1977 at the beginning of a craze for international marathons in large cities. Paris hosts one of the largest events of its kind in Europe, and is very popular due to the city's appeal and rich architecture and heritage.
This major international marathon attracts over 40,000 runners each year.
This year the Paris Marathon 2023 will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023. The course will start in the most famous avenue in the world, the Champs Elysées.
You will then follow an unforgettable route through the City of Light. Starting from the Arc de Triomphe, the route will lead to the Place de la Concorde. From the rue de Rivoli, you will cross the place de la Bastille. Then you will pass through the Bois de Vincennes, and return to the center of Paris along the banks of the Seine offering a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. Finally, you will run in the Bois de Boulogne before heading to the finish line on Avenue Foch.
This is an event not to be missed by all running fanatics who want to have fun, break records and exceed their limits.
It is imperative for all participants to present themselves with a medical certificate dating less than one year. As every year, refreshment points will be available throughout the race for its participants. This is your opportunity to give your best and to reserve your tickets quickly!
